The programme featured a selection of films from the Planet Amateur Film Society, showcasing footage of the Enfield area from the 1930's to the 1950's. This was divided into two sections; the first of silent footage accompanied by composer and pianist Costas Fotopoulos with live improvised piano; the second with synchronous sound. The first section was roughly equal measure black and white and colour; the second mostly colour.

The majority of footage was un-staged newsreel type material. Much of this was focused on local celebrations and parades for various events, including the queen's coronation. The notable exception to this was a dramatised story of a soldier returning blind from World War Two, who takes his own life.

Coming soon: an exclusive interview with composer and pianist Costas Fotoloulos about his involvement with this event.
