WHO WE ARE
myDylarama is an editorial platform and film events organisation dedicated to increasing public engagement with independent and international film.
The website is edited by an all-female team of programmers, academics and film enthusiasts. We discuss and review films and other screen-related matters, and champion emerging, radical and international work. We believe that film can be a key platform for underrepresented and oft-ignored voices, as well as a medium for social, economic and cultural awareness. We also organise screenings and events with partner cinemas and organisations. The myDylarama podcast is hosted by editors Coco Green and Abla Kandalaft. Episodes are available here, and on most podcasting platforms.
PARTNERS
Over the years, we have partnered up with a number of festivals and institutions, including the Paris Film Festival, DocHouse and the International Human Rights Film Festival. Since 2016, we have been the official UK partner of the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, overseeing its online platform. We are also proud to be members of the Independent Media Association.
EVENTS AND SCREENINGS
All details of upcoming events will be in the Latest News section and in our newsletter. We are in the process of developing a series of screenings for people experiencing barriers to cultural engagement
